All,
I know i might be a bit late while writing this.
But i think its necessary for us admins ( who manage the TV servers ) to explain that it is not our fault that there are delays or fuck ups.
Games can be delayed for several reasons:
- Teams are to slow to connect to the gameserver
- Teams are to slow to ready up on the gameserver
- CDC Admins decide to switch / reschedule games and shuffle teams in their official match schedule
This causes us to reorganise everything:
- on our gamestv.org schedule
- with our hubs
- with our ETTV servers
Another issue is that teams are using a different gameserver than the one that was announced in the CDC schedule, which means we then have a messed up schedule on our side as well.
This causes us to switch all the TV servers from one gameserver to the other because there are 2 matches running on the same time and teams are using the wrong server as stated before.
This basically means you aren't watching the game that you wanted to see at first.
You can believe us that we are doing everything we can to get the latest information so that our TV servers are streaming the correct matches, at the decent times provided by CDC Admins.
So please, for everybody's ease, do check the schedule on www.gamestv.org because things may change !
Regards,
GamesTV.org Crew
