You could just change modem :) Some modems even have ability to change mac addresses from modem. On pc you can do that alone with little googling :D

Rules from the current EC/OC season, also the word draw is only used once in the entire rulebook. Which is the one in this ruling, since draws are of importance according to this rule they must clearly be possible :X

right, I can see why it might be a bit confusing, but there simply has to be a winner in each match - the system doesn't even allow us to add the score as a draw

They can have the forfeit win then, we couldnt be bothered to play boring 2on2 format anyway but we had nothing to do so we played it. Buzzer is now off to bed and I'm at friends so really can't be bothered to play one map of 2on2 boredome to settle this.
Also the 'system not allowing a draw to be entered' is not the part I'm(probably anyone) is going to check if they want to know if a draw is allowed/possible, they will check the rules and unless the rules don't say anything about draws they might PM an admin. I'm sorry you find the 2on2 format to be boring, but that doesn't have much to do with this (although it does make me wonder why you even bothered to sign up if you feel that way)

I didn't sign us up for the 2on2/3on3 tourney, someone else did but those were not able to play / are playing these cups for other teams now. Which is why Buzzer and myself were playing this, since we were online anyway and not doing much else. But you are right that has nothing to do with the rule but it has everything to do that we were both doing other stuff and couldn't be bothered to abandon those things to play one map of boring 2on2 to settle this. fair enough, though I'm sure you realize that it can be difficult to ensure that the rules cover every possible situation that could occur - that is why we try to be available by PM if there are any questions/concerns :P
