GAMESTV.ORG serves multiple game communities and thousands of players across the world. Our intention is to ensure that users of the site, registered or not, can enjoy their stay and gain easy access to the information they want. We believe that a community site such as GTV should be open to community contribution.

In doing this, GTV allows user submitted news, blogs, columns and comments as well as the ability to gain admin access to add wars and broadcasts.

To maintain the quality of the site and the experience for our visitors, certain measures are in place to ensure user submitted input is moderated; to an extent. Frequent, trusted posters should be allowed to contribute whenever they feel like it where as obstructive users with a bad reputation should not.

Our G-Points system allows us to open the gates to trusted users but lock out the bad ones. Submitted news that is accepted gains you points, which after a short while will give you access as a trusted user. On the opposite end of the scale, news that is rejected for going against our general policy, or comments that are deleted for being abusive or innapropriate, lose you points.

We don't believe in community sites that force you to constantly post just to gain the benefits; but we do believe good trust is earnt.

Trusted or not; all users of the site should follow the set guidelines. If your post doesn't; we may remove it.

GamesTV.org does not allow:

• Abusive, offensive or threatening posts.
• Posts to banned, disallowed or illegal content.
• Posts of a pornographic nature.
• Posts aimed at the (unfair) humilation of any individual.
• Content in any other language than English, although in comments we don't moderate it strictly
• Excessive chat, forum or IRC logs.
• Spam that clearly has no purpose.
• Attempts to recreate HTML code with a post.

In news posts, blogs and columns we require:

• Posts with a good layout that are easy to read.
• Posts relevant to the game or topic under which they lay.
• Acceptable correct use of the English language. "r u?" is not.
• Posts of a certain length. Short posts will be removed.

And most importantly, apply common sense.
