I don’t know u r talking about World War 2 or postwar period, it doesn’t matter that much.

Looks like when they speak of communists, they mean entire population of USSR \ Russia
& U should realize that communist party, which was a party in power & Stalin, the tyrannical ruler (who wasn’t much better than Hitler) actually MADE the decisions about the occupation of the Eastern Europe after the WW2. That doesn’t mean other 99, 5% of the Russia’s population, the common people, wanted or supported the repressions \ murders in Eastern Europe.
