I just disconnected from an ETTV server on which i was waiting for about 1 hour to see the match i came there for.
You cant do anything when youre in such a situation.
Thats whx i asked myself, me and I, why cant there be a kind of an option to vote the match you want to see.
I have no fucking idea how to install such a thingy but it would be very nice.
Of course you have to turn off these votes when there's a live broadcast... but i mean, if youre on a rainy afternoon alone on an Ettv server you should have the option to watch the game you want.
Some will now say aight, if you want the game, just skip through all the ettv servers on hlsw and wait till the match is showen.
But imo such a thing would be nice.
Pls now your ideas how to put this into practise.

It would only be gd if you're alone on the ettv serv but I mean why you think just some normal public servers disabled some votes like XpShuffle/kick/mute/swap etc. To prevent abuse of it in some way to annoy ppl.
So you want to see a certain match but suddenly some1 else connects and wanted to see the previous match cause he saw it on xfire (program ofc) or so..

on xfire there are only live broadcasts feartured. No replays.
imo it should be like on puclib server, if theres a majority, it changes.

Something that always bugs me when watching ETTV replays is waiting for rup.
surely it would be possible to replay a demo starting from when all players ready rather than 15 mins of whine?

thats basically ETTV on demand. something like that allready existed but died before it became really popular.

btw if you go to the gamestv.org mIRC channel (can't remember it atm) you ask for arni and he'll show you what you wanted. That's what he did for me (kisses)

surely you could put in a cmd that the voting option is disabled once it exceeds a certain amount of people. i like to watch the old school matches, and their on on once a while in #team-beta ettv server
