Interesting, though why not just do North America vs Australia since it's been continents so far...
It's been only a continent vs a country in Europe - Australia. Australia played some weeks later against Japan, and now the USA.

Yeah because playing against players from all around Asia would be a bit impractical. Making it against just USA is an unnecessary handicap which doesn't make sense looking back at the "North America vs Europe" matches. This isn't nationscup or something. ;)

yes, but there is one big difference here. All Australian traffic to europe has to go THROUGH the US.
Rules state: Euro-servers. But if the other team agrees to play on american servers, you are lucky.

It was cancelled I believe due to the fact that the match server details were misplaced and the owner of the server could not be contacted.
