I'm working for some weeks now on a C# software that make you able to view the next broadcasts directly in a Windows software without using the website.
The first public beta version is now out.
The actual functions are :
- Show the match list.
- Abbility to choose how many days you want to see.
- Possiblity to set a reminder on a match.
- Show the match priority, the number of slots, the tournament, the game on one line.
- Possibility to directly use your GamesTV account with it.
- You can choose the dateformat used on the War pages.
- The match summary use your local timezone instead of the CET or GMT time.
- Automatic refresh every 5 minutes of the match list and a message is shown to tell you there were some changes on GamesTV.
- You can check if there is any new version available in the About window.
- Easy to use tab system with Openall and Closeall functions.
- A war page with the same functions as GamesTV's one (except the comments).
- Minimizing to tray.
- Possibility to start the software with Windows.
- Close a tab by double-clicking on it.
- Date format for both War and General tab
- Automatic refresh when Days is changed in the settings.

PS: Because there aren't any matches before Sunday, you will need to set the Days in the Settings to a value of at least 2.

The software was tested with .Net 2.0 in English, French and German version.

CLR is part of .NET, that's the software that start the .net softwares, if you have this option, I would recommend you to clean a bit your .net version and reinstall a clean .Net 2 with the link I post as a reply of Winghaven's post.
i have fresh install but i working on win 2k3, is it optimized to work witch this os ?
It should work with any OS with .Net 2.0

Ability to view/add comments would be nice as would the ability to place bets I guess. Interface is pretty well layed out, well done steph
Edit: Ability to see the rosters as well, I see the rosters in the ND vs Rize game but not for the dmt vs highbot :(

For the rosters, if I remember we have a test to check that we have both and then show them. Maybe we should just check if we have only one of them.

Nice, but what is the actual advantage over the website?
-No need to start your browser
-Can run in the background (in the systray) and popup when there is a change.
-Can popup x minutes before a match (usefull for the broadcasters)
-More easy to see all the matches of the day on one page (more information than on the block in the website)

I had to do 2-3 small bug fix on the 0.2.1 version, the version should be ready to download now.
Maybe change the date of matches in "Today" if they are today (overview). I think that would be more clear on the first look then.
Edit: and maybe write a note behind the "Reminder: " line in settings that have have to enter minutes, not seconds or hours.

0.2.2 is released with this 2 changes and with a big bugfix (Reminders weren't stored)
Great job, really. Now I can have this minimized in the system tray and see all the updates without visiting gamestv.org 10 times a day ; ). Really, really nice but if I could say something about the upgrades I'd like to see, it would be great if you gave us the option to choose a game which we would like to see on gtv ; ). For example- I'm playing ET and I'm only interested in this kind of matches and I don't want to have UT, CoD or Q3 in my list. So I'd like to have a choice and pick only ET matches. I don't know if I'm asking for too much but if you could do this I would really appreciate that : ). That's my idea for the new options in the next version.

I'll have a look at this, doing a dropdown menu to choose the game is easy to do, but a bit useless because some people will want to see 2 or more games, then I'll have to do something to retrieve the Game list from GamesTV and do some checkbox or something this way.

too bad that i cant copy/paste ETTV server IP.
That's a known limitation of this embeded browser, if you remove the navigation shortcuts and menus (the rightclick menu and all the other IE shortcuts), the ctrl+C and ctrl+V are also disabled.
