CB ET Goes 3.2.6 (1609 Views)

ClanBase has officially announced that all Enemy Territory cups and ladder matches should now be played with the latest ETPro version, 3.2.6. This move also confirms that ClanBase requires all players to make use of ET patch 2.60b.

No configs have been released with the announcement but are expected at the start of the OpenCup Fall 2006 season.

Here on GTV, all matches before and including Saturday 23rd will be broadcasted using 3.2.5 servers where appropriate. Leagues wishing to apply for coverage in this time should note we cannot supply 3.2.6 servers before this time. GTV will move all servers and requests to ETPro 3.2.6 as from Sunday 24th.

please note that unless some casters are up and downgrading their ettv servers for particular matches we will also not be able to cast 3.2.6 from non gtv matchservers.

To avoid trouble we advise everyone to switch their servers and ettv's at sunday.

This probably has been asked before somewhere, but...

1) Is it neccesary to install 2.60b to play on ETPro 3.2.6 or can we play on 3.2.6 with ET 2.60.

2) If 2.60b is installed, can we still play on servers that run 2.60? Or should all servers automatically update to 2.60b to be able to run 3.2.6?

1) its required to install 2.60b to play on etpro 3.2.6 and its not possible to use it at et 2.60

2) when newer version (2.60b) is installed you cant play on older versions (2.60), so all server will have to update...

not 100% sure so dont flame me if im wrong

as far as i remember 2.60b was a serverside patch and players with 2.60 should be able to play with 2.60b, so it's just the servers who need to upgrade.

nopes, you were both wrong.

2.60b is both a client and serverside patch.

serverside 2.60b is the only option, and all servers should have updated by now. Clientside etpro <= 3.2.5 works with 2.60 and etpro >= 3.2.6 works with 2.60b.

So to update clientside... do u just have to replace the old ET.exe with the one in the zip, or....?

Cause when i do it that way, i'm getting 'Integrity Failure' each time i connect to a server. :/
