Is it possible to hide the results of played matchs so you can only see them if you really want to ?
It would make the replays 10 times more interesting if you dont know the score, especially for the old matches.

yes, its been brough up before and you have a good point

however i currently dont have a good idea how to implement it, we still want to show the scores by default and i'm not sure how you can say that you dont want to see the scores before actually opening the match

i'll think about it

Felix_ i quickly made a user-css to hide the scores...

Currently it hides:
- the big (green/red) scores on the match-page
- the match-button (.png) that also displays the score
- the scores on the 'most recent events'-box

(couldn't find any other places where the score is also displayed, but maybe i forgot some... :F )

However it still shows the scores as soon as you hover the boxes with your mouse...

Get it here: http://www.cl4ym4n.de/gtv/gtv.css

Tutorials how to implement it:
Opera: http://www.opera.com/docs/usercss/
Firefox: http://www.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html#usercss
Internet Explorer: http://webdesign.about.com/od/css/ht/htcssuseriewin.htm

Might be a temporary solution to fill your needs... :)

its a good idea, it's for a lot of players interesting. I hope that the results of all matches can come.

A hint: an option in settings, like:
Show scores:
[x] Yes (default)
[ ] No
And then when a logged in user opens an eventpage, parser doesnt print the info from him (few control statements asking db for 0 or 1 in php code needed).
The only problem would be the match-button, you'd need to produce two types of them from now on and the new one would not contain the score. :)

The more important issue is: could you implement a feature that would show results of yet to be played matches, too? :-)

or that you can download the match before you have to click on the match to see it.

for example..

et 21:00 rL pl vs be system6 (demos)

so you can click on the demos to download, or click on the time to see the results and comments
