The guy brought our attention to the fact that actually both teams are not from Poland and it is Polish ladder. Common sense may tell you thats it's surely not normal situation (altough nobody said its something wrong or anything^^). But he said that using an irony or sarcasm (I could never truely differ them).

I really dont care what certificate you have, since that doesnt make you unmistakeable (or whatever :s), I have also seen many people with some certificates who didnt represent the given level on English in conversations. And if it's some kind of race 'who was born more to the east' then I win because I was born in Taszkent. Although, I want to underline that my goal is not to negate your English skills, which may not seem so clear from my previous replies to you, but to point out that what mst wrote is correct. This example, in my opinion, shows that you may be very good in English at school, but still you miss some experience in not so official (or maybe this example is official indeed) language. Do we have Saturday today? It is not an object but the meaning is clear and such phrases are used pretty often (it brings to me the image of an old man asking 'Could you tell me what day do we have today, young man?'). I believe you started to talk about your certificate because I didnt say precisely what I wanted to say and I probably went too far in offence towards you. Neverthless, as a friendly advice, I'd tell you it's not the most courteous and rational way to backup your argument with a certificate or title. Regards if you actually read what I have written here and no hard feelings.
